Delete Field#

Permanently removes a field from a Type.

Parameters#

slug (path) - Unique slug of the Type
fieldId (path) - ID of the Field

Important Notes#

⚠️ WARNING: This action is irreversible!
All data stored in this field will be permanently deleted
Data cannot be recovered after deletion
Consider deactivating the field (active: false) instead of deleting it
Make sure to back up data before deletion

Recommended Alternative#

Instead of deleting, consider deactivating the field:
This preserves the data but hides the field from the interface.
